Great to see this contest back again! :D

Any idea if there will be USB prizes this year for the runner-ups? I was a little bummed this aspect was missing last year.

At the moment, it is not confirmed. It was something @SplatterDash handled and I only assisted with contacting everyone and sending out the prizes. Perhaps Splatter can comment further on this? I am not sure how we're moving forward with custom physical prizes this year, if any.

I like this, i will try to be there

Does the song title matter?

We currently don't have specific rules on the song titles (just make sure they comply with Newgrounds Audio Portal rules if any), but I appreciate it if entries include "AIM 2023" somewhere in the song title and/or tag the entry as "aim2023".

How many entries can be posted?

Each participant can submit up to 2 entries.

sounds fun!

W00!! It's been way too long since I've been able to compose. Being featured on multiple past albums was a great experience. Definitely gonna give it a go this year! :D

Hopefully more effort will be put into mine for this year. Last year’s was kinda rushed.

You've got this!

sounds cool, hopefully i can get myself to participate

Tempted to enter as a musician just to have a prompt to make music, but I’ve already got so many projects that I don’t think it would be wise. Plus burnout will always find a way.

So, as someone who has music theory under my belt: How much work does being a judge entail?

The main part of the role will involve listening to all the approved entries and evaluating them with a score. I'll send you a DM with more details in a bit.

Time to "AAAAAAAAAAA" once again!

Glad to be part of this year's judging team !
